Our Care

We understand how good homecare can make a real difference to people’s lives. Our carers work alongside you and your families to ensure you continue to enjoy a fulfilling level of independence. We go that extra mile to ensure you get the support needed to live in the comfort of your own home.

Personal care

We offer bespoke packages to enhance your life and maintain independence. Support can be provided on a temporary or permanent basis. Our personal care packages are ideal for people who don’t yet need full time care.

Here at Nuliving Homecare, our carers are on hand to help you with a range of tasks to make your life easier and more comfortable. We understand that sometimes as we age, we need a little extra help with personal care, domestic chores, and other day-to-day tasks. That’s where we step in to ease the burden.

Carers can assist with things like bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene matters to help you feel comfortable. We also help with things like toileting and continence care, always respecting your privacy and dignity.

When it comes to domestic chores, we’re here to help with things like cleaning, laundry, and general tidying to keep your home clean and organised. We also help with shopping and food preparation, making sure you have healthy and nutritious meals that meet your dietary needs and preferences.

In some cases, you may require peg feeding to ensure you’re getting the nutrition you need. Carers are trained and experienced in providing this type of care, ensuring that you receive the nutrition you need while maintaining your dignity and comfort.

Companionship is also an important part of our role. Our friendly carers provide social engagement and meaningful activities to help prevent loneliness and isolation. We can also accompany you on outings, appointments, and errands, making sure you get out and about as much as possible.

We provide reassurance and support as needed. We can also help with medication management, making sure you take the right medication at the right time, and with the correct dosage.

Overall, our goal as a domiciliary care provider is to help you live as independently as possible while ensuring that you receive the support you need to thrive. We work with you and your family to create a care plan that meets your individual needs and preferences, always with a focus on compassion, respect, and dignity.

Complex/ Physical Care

We work closely with you, your families and existing professionals to ensure that personal care needs are met and independence maintained. Complex care at home can often require home adaptations along with moving, handling and mobility aids. We offer practical help, working with occupational therapists and external agencies.

Our trained, dedicated carers are here to support you with any complex or physical care needs you may have. We recognise that dealing with issues around mobility, breathing apparatus, and physical disability illnesses can be challenging, but we’re here to help make things easier for you.

When it comes to mobility issues, we provide support with transfers, helping you get in and out of bed, chairs, or other furniture safely and comfortably. We also assist with mobility aids like wheelchairs, walkers, and canes, making sure they’re properly adjusted and used safely. If you have any concerns about falls or safety, we help assess your home environment and make suggestions for modifications or adaptations that can help keep you safe and independent.

If you require breathing apparatus, carers are experienced in providing care for people with respiratory conditions, such as COPD or asthma. We can help you manage your breathing equipment, administer oxygen, and monitor your breathing to ensure you’re getting the support you need to breathe comfortably.

End of life care can also be an important part of our role. We are trained and experienced in providing compassionate care for those nearing the end of their life. We provide physical care to help manage symptoms such as pain, nausea, or difficulty breathing. Carers provide emotional support to you and your family, ensuring you feel comfortable and supported throughout.

If you have a physical disability illness, we provide tailored care that meets your individual needs. We help with personal care, mobility support, and any other aspects of daily living that you require assistance with. We also support with medication management and any medical equipment you may use, making sure you feel comfortable and confident with your care.

Overall, our goal as a domiciliary care provider is to provide compassionate, person-centered care that meets your individual needs and preferences. We work with you and your family to create a care plan that addresses your specific concerns and challenges, always with a focus on respect, dignity, and compassion.

Enabling

Our carers are highly trained and experienced to enable people to enjoy the same opportunities and independence as others, to maintain their own home within their community.

At Nuliving Homecare, we are here to help you live as normal and independent a life as possible, while still living at home. We understand that struggling to cope with old age, disabilities or illness can be challenging, but we’re here to help you maintain your independence and enjoy life to the fullest.

Enabling care is all about empowering you to live the life you want to lead. We help with things like personal care, medication management, and physical support to ensure you can carry out your daily activities comfortably and safely. We also help with tasks like cooking, cleaning, and shopping to help you maintain your home and your independence.

Social engagement is also an important part of enabling care. Carers provide companionship and support to help you engage with the world around you. This may involve things like going for walks, attending social events, or pursuing hobbies and interests that bring you joy. We also help you stay connected with friends and family, whether through technology or in person visits.

Minimising isolation is a priority for us. Living at home can sometimes feel isolating, especially if you’re not able to get out and about as much as you’d like. That’s why we work to build relationships with service users, providing emotional support and social connection. Staying connected with your local community is also important.

Overall, our goal as a domiciliary care provider is to help you live a fulfilling and independent life in the comfort of your own home. We work with you and your family to create a care plan that addresses your individual needs and preferences, always with a focus on respect, dignity, and compassion.

Whether you need help with personal care, social engagement, or anything in between, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
